Our Story,
Quality Sewing Machine Company was established 35 years ago. To this day we are proud to say that we are still a family owned and operated business. James Bernhagen began his journey and opened the company as an industrial sewing machine repair store in Dallas, TX. After noticing a shifting change in the repair industry he broaden out and expanded into the embroidery field. He became a certified technician with Barudan in 2005. Having grown up in the Sewing Industry, he has strived to stand behind the company name and has sucessfully produced an excellent reputation for quality service.
In 2019 his son Dylan officially came on board and is also a certified technician with Barudan. He brings innovated ideas and experience to help grow the company to new levels. He specializes in training, installs, and repairs.
We are also proud to introduce his brother Mike Bernhagen. Mike is over the Maintenance program that we offer. Having grown up in the sewing machine repair industry as well, MIke brings loads of experience and knowledge to our company.
Now to the best part of the company, that would be me.
My name is Deanna and not only as the Administrator of Quality Sewing Machine and the wife of James, I also offer years of experience with Wilcom software. As our kids grew up, I owned a retail embroidery shop and bring years of knowledge as an embroidery machine operator to the company.
